網易探索3月27日訊，據俄羅斯新聞網報導，  在烏克蘭南部有一處非常神秘的地方，

當地人稱該地為「地獄之門」，實際上一個已經燃燒了35年的地下洞穴。

「地獄之門」位於烏克蘭南部小鎮達瓦茲（Darvaz）附近。

關於這一神秘地穴的故事，已經流傳了三十五年之久。

據報導，35年前，  前蘇聯的一支鑽探隊和地理科學家在該地區考察鑽探天然氣資源。

正當他們在進行鑽探的時候，  他們突然發現了一個就在他們腳下的巨大的地下洞穴。

突然之間，該鑽探隊的所有鑽探設備以及臨時營地都掉進了這個「神秘地穴」。

當時沒有人敢接近洞口進行具體的調查，  因為這個洞穴中充滿了天然氣，隨時都有燃燒爆炸的可能，

另外科學家也擔心地穴中的毒性氣體。

為了防止毒氣從洞中逸出，無奈之下的鑽探隊員點燃了洞口的氣體，

就是從這時起，該洞口的火焰已經持續了整整35年，從未間斷。

這麼多年來，人們無法知道在這裡有多少噸上好的天然氣被燃燒掉，

洞中的儲氣量，看起來似乎是無窮無盡。
